Some Witch(man) Craft

 

Witchman is a solo project of Birmingham, UK native John Roome. Known more for his film soundtracks & TV scores, this is his first full-length. The whole album is wrapped in a dark shroud of Dubby reverb, scattershot breaks, cavernous basslines with ominous sampled vocals & soundbytes.

      This is the kind of thing i love, NØ. It reminds me in places of Goldie, and Burial. Not sure if it falls under the rubric of 'illbient' but i really dig these atmospheric beaty soundscapes. Thanks also to Mooz, as i'll avail myself of those he posted too.

      Could you please post working links for all the other Witchman albums especially "Innasylum" and all his EPs and compilations. If possible please also post all music from his side projects "Gold Water" and "The Unknown Ghosts". The music John Roome
      released under these names has been very difficult for me to find on the internet to download. Thank you for all the great music you have posted on your website. I greatly appreciate it.

      Tom, didn't realize the Mooz links above were dead. Since the month of May is dedicated to revisting past artists & since I put a note on the first share asking for requests, you're in good luck.

      I will share all the Witchman & associated items that I have later this month. You'll just have to be patient, as I am sharing the revisits in reverse chronological order, it will be near the end of May before I get up to January 2025.

      I have another share from Hemophiliac already set (they were January 8th). More Witchman after that post. Hope that is good enough, best I can do & it'll give me time to get everything in order.
