Curacao

Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Saint Eustatius, & Saint Maarten were all part of the Netherlands Antilles.

From Curaçao, this is "Doble R" (SSS) Super Special Stars. Here is some crazy salsa / tamba / dura music under the direction of Rignal Recordino or “Doble R”. It’s sung in papiamentu, a language named after the Portuguese words papia & papear which mean 'to babble'.

Papiamento or papiamentu is the most widely spoken language on the Caribbean ABC islands (formerly Netherlands Antilles), having official status on the islands of Aruba, Bonaire, & Curaçao. Papiamento is a creole language derived from African & Iberian Romance languages with some influences from Amerindian languages, English, & Dutch. Papiamento has two main dialects: papiamento is spoken primarily on Aruba; papiamentu is spoken primarily on Bonaire & Curaçao.

This is guaranteed to get you out of your seat, onto your feet, & shakin’ all over.
