Damn Fine. Although I always rated Magazine quite highly, I never owned a copy of "Real Life". Appropriately, the first Devoto product - short of "Spiral Scratch" - I went out of my way to purchase was "After The Fact". Looking forward to hearing those demos especially.
Magazine & Howard D are favorites of mine. Have most all of their material & thought maybe a few out here might like a listen to this. Basically: the first 6 tunes are bootlegged demos of what would become Real Life (very listenable & enjoyable, imo); 7 - 9 are from the same shows as the Short Circuited at the Circus post I did (June 28, 2014) although the dates on the Definitive Daze back cover indicate Nov. 2, 1977 but the Electric Circus closed the month before that (the correct date of the show being Oct. 2, 1977)...the tracks were never used on the 10" release; & the last four are from the indicated John Peel show & are probably available elsewhere (there being at least two versions of Definitive Daze, one with & one without the Peel Sessions, I chose to post the more complete one).
