If Memory Serves

A visitor to this dump-site (Daniel Ramos) commented recently about Material (Bill Laswell band). He mentioned that Memory Serves is his all-time favorite Material release, I have to agree that it is also one of my favorites & I have not posted it up previously.

Hold up. My memory obviously doesn't serve me well. Less than a year ago I posted this. Oh well. Double dose.

I mentioned there would be more Bills here (Nelson, Laswell, Burroughs). The last Bill was Nelson so this takes care of Laswell for a while.

Material – Memory Serves, Celluloid CEL N.Y. 5007, 1981.

  2. A very nice album. Thanks for this. Given the world we find ourselves in, a little Bill Burroughs would help. Looking forward...

  3. Bill was a none too accurate shot, of course. But he made his mark.
