  1. Good to see you back! Some people are critical of reunions, but I'm so glad I got to see the Slits on their last tour (with the lovely Hollie), as well as Television (alas, without Richard Lloyd). Psychotic Reaction was TV's encore.

  4. Nice one, Nathan - many thanks, hadn't heard the 1984 Camden before. Nice to see jonder here too, tho' if you check out this recent gig of Richard Lloyd, maybe it was better he left Television ... http://southernshelter.com/2017/06/out-of-towners-richard-lloyd-group-georgia-theatre-2017-06-23/.

For Television fans, I've upped most of the lossless stuff I have over here: http://darkcircleroom4.blogspot.com/search/label/Television; for Tom Verlaine fans, the holey grail is the 1986 Flashlight studio sessions recorded by Dave Bascombe and still live here in lossless after three years: http://luckypsychichut.blogspot.com/2014/03/tom-verlaine-dave-bascombe-sessions-1986.html (2 x zippyshare).

And a big thanks to nathan for keeping me sane over the past few months ... cheers, Dave Sez.

    1. Thanks for the comment & all the great links. I'll be grabbing all the RL/TV/TomV that I don't have. Definitely gonna grab the flashlight. If this crazy man can help keep you sane, well then...us Sez bros gotta stick together.

  5. Thanks, Nathan, and yes, we crazies should stick together bearing in mind all the "sane" people running the planet for the moment ... "Fascists on the attack, we're going to fight dem back" - Linton Kwesi Johnson, "Forces of Victory" CD. On the music side, I have a clear preference for studio sessions rather than live, so I spotted that besides the irreplaceable 1974-75 Double Exposure demos over at http://darkcircleroom4.blogspot.com/2014/03/television-double-exposure-demos-1974.html, the sessions for Television's second album are no longer up. Well, here they are and if you haven't got them already in FLAC, hurry to get this gem:
    music - http://www.filefactory.com/file/63yvhohhzaah/n/Television_-_I_Need_A_New_Adventure.zip
    covers - https://www.giginjapan.com/scan2/tv-need.htm

As for the live, Detroit 77, Amsterdam 77 and Bottom Line 78 over at darkcircle are really worth having. For Verlaine live, check out http://darkcircleroom4.blogspot.com/search/label/Tom%20Verlaine and the further gigs mentioned in the comments here: http://darkcircleroom4.blogspot.com/2014/05/tom-verlaine-errols-gothenburg-sweden.html.

    Enjoy and no pasaran!

    Cheers, Dave Sez.
