Basement 5 and the Slits are about as close as I get but dub is definitely far and away my favorite variety of reggae (assuming it can be considered such). But I was floored when I recently came across this track on Aquarium Drunkard recently:

If there's anything in particular you'd recommend that similarly blends dub with other soul-jazz-psych-rock-etc flavors I'd be grateful for the guidance. I have collected a bunch of adrian sherwood, jah wobble, bill laswell, etc. releases over the years (a lot of them from you!) but I'm not that familiar with any of it and not sure if there's anything essential I should give some attention to similar to that Manasseh Meets The Equaliser track. Probably impossible to give an easy answer to but if anyone has the knowledge it's you! Thanks for all the great music!
That "Millenium" track you gave the link to is fantastic. That is some of the kind of Dub I love. I've got Dub the Millenium complete release if you're interested, plus a few other Manasseh releases.
DeleteAs you so rightly stated, it is: "Probably(definitely) impossible to give an easy answer". There are so many variations under the mantle of Dub.
