Fab, Trip 11

Finally we get to our first entry in the third wave of Trip-hop. Starting in the early 10s until the present, this wave of Trip-hop utilizes many of the more modern studio techniques to add the hip-hop stylings to the sound. I am least familiar with this era Trip-hop.

Ramon Arnella is a Barcelona based recording artist & producer who goes by the stage name Plastic Teardrops. His music is heavily influenced by Massive Attack & Portishead through his fusion of Trip-hop & Downtempo.

This is Plastic Teardrop's first release. Ramon mixes acoustic instruments with digital effects in a perfect ratio.

Plastic Teardrops - Close to the Ground, self-released, 2019.
