Renegade Soundwave was formed in the late 80s in London by the trio of Gary Asquith, Danny Briottet, & Carl Bonnie. They were pioneers in electronic music who combined punk ethos & industrial techniques to Dub/dancefloor music
Of course I have mostly their more Dub influenced releases. 1990s In Dub was seminal in merging Dub with electronic & rave stylings. Three of the tracks are Dub reworkings of tracks from Soundclash: "Pocket Porn Dub", a remix of "Pocket Porn"; "Holgertron", a remix of "Traitor"; & "Black Eye Boy", a remix of "Blue Eyed Boy". "Recognise & Respond" is a Dub mix of the RSW single "Cocaine Sex". The remaining six tracks are new compositions for In Dub.
