Formed in 1979 from the ashes of another favorite of mine, Glaxo Babies by Tony Wrafter (saxophonist / trumpeter), Charlie Llewellin (drums), & Dan Catsis (bass). Catsis had been in The Pop Group as well as Glaxo Babies & brought along fellow Pop Group alum John Waddington (guitar). With Janine Rainforth at the helm as vocalist & co-founder along with Wrafter, Maximum Joy released a number of cult groove classic singles.

DeleteSilent Street / Silent Dub. It's been my chosen funeral music for a long time (though hopefully not for a while yet).
