Dubtember 8 - Under the Spectre of Dub

On the WordSound compilation Dubtember 4, I mentioned Sarath "Skiz" Fernando, founder & head of the WordSound label. He is also the artist known as Spectre.

This is a hidden gem of Dub/Downtempo that slipped past most radars when released back in 96. It's a warm, head bopping. immersive listen, mostly instrumental. There are heavy echoes of very early Dub Orb, even some Sabres of Paradise, along with more roots Dub with earthy grooves & subtle electronic flourishes.
