Desert Dwellers is the electronic music duo of Amani Friend & Treavor Moontribe, hailing from the deserts of New Mexico / California. Both artists were independent music producers & DJs who teamed up in the late 90s after connecting through the legendary Moontribe scene. As Desert Dwellers they are one of the best downtempo, psy-bass, tribal trance acts in the United States.
Their live shows at Shambhala, Lightning in a Bottle, Envision, Coachella, Rainbow Serpent, & Boom are world renowned. They combine the raw sounds of the natural world with deep bass, earthy percussion, etheric voices, & cross-cultural instrumentation.
