MOJO is a British music magazine first published on 15 October 1993. From 1997 until mid-2004 the magazine occasionally came with a CD or an odd 7" vinyl record. A cover mount CD has been included with every month's issue since July 2004, except for September 2004 / January 2006 when two CDs were included, & March 2016 when no disc was included with the David Bowie tribute issue which included commemorative posters.
This one was the free CD for the MOJO March 2015 issue.

Oh, bubba...this is a good one. Been posting a lot of Mojo Presents myself (including this one), so it's good to see someone else keeping the faith.
ReplyDeleteWell, Capn. I think I owe you one here. Until you commented, I didn't realize that I probably picked this up from your excellemt blog several years ago(?). In fact I have grabbed quite a few MOJO presents from you, I have a folder of them, but this one through bad filing on my part ending up just dumped in the VA folder.
DeleteI encourage everyone reading these comments to go visit Primitive Offerings (link in Freanz of NSS) if you don't already & avail yourself of the Mojo Mondays (& much other greatness).
Thank you, J.mo.
Share and share alike, I always say.
DeleteSure, but also credit where credit's due. Thanks again.
DeleteWhere to find?
DeleteThe link is the album title (highlighted color) beneath the cover artwork. The decryption code is in the first comment. Copy the decryption code, select the link, paste code when prompted by MEGA. That's all, folks.
DeleteThat's quite a line-up! Got to give this a listen. Many thanks!

ReplyDeleteSee my reply to Captain J.mo above.
DeleteYour use of past tense is incorrect, Mojo is still very alive.
ReplyDeleteMr Mojo
Bad grammar on my part. Fixed to present tense. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWhoops, no longer anonymous: Thanks NØ! I love the funk punk, can't get enough! There's even a few here that I've never even heard OF.
ReplyDeleteThese MOJO 'zine comps usually feature some fantastic track choices. Thanks, brother.
