On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

Dubtember 15 - Dub Royalty

Roy Cousins was already famous as a reggae great when in 1979 cataracts diminished Roy's sight to the point that he concentrated solely on production work which he could carry out in the relative safety of the recording studio. Cousins was at work producing Prince Far I's final album in 1983, Umkhonto We Sizwe, when Far-I was fatally shot before the album was finished. This event prompted Cousins to emigrate to Liverpool, England,

He opened a record shop, Cousins Cove, where he also produced & released records on his Tamoki-Wambesi & Dove labels, both from his back-catalogue, & new recordings of visiting Jamaican artists. This collection features production by Roy on riddims originally licensed by Roots Radics to Roy back in his Jamaica days..
