Re-Flex was a British electro pop group featuring John Baxter (guitar / vocals), Paul Fishman (keyboards / vocals), Nigel Ross-Scott (bass), & Roland Kerridge (drums). Their only big hit song "The Politics of Dancing" was recorded in 1982, released in the U.S. in 1984. It reached #24 on the Billboard charts & has since become a new wave radio classic. The follow-up single "Hurt" hit the Billboard charts as well.
However, interest in the group faded quickly. The band's follow-up album, Humanication, was shelved, never to be released during the band's prime. Humanication was finally released in 2010.
