On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

Musick that Needed Work - R: Roger C. Reale & Rue Morgue

Although these cats were known as Roger C. Reale & Rue Morgue, we're all probably a lot more familiar with Rue Morgue alum G.E. Smith & Hilly Michaels.

The band only released two albums: Radioactive in 1978 & Reptiles in Motion in 2019 as well as the compilation shared here.

Reptiles in Motion was recorded in 1979. It featured Mick Ronson taking G.E. Smith's place on guitar. It was meant as a follow-up to Radioactive but remained shelved until 2019. RIM was released on Rave On Records, basically a vanity label for the two bands The Reducers & Heap. Roger C. Reale had provided vocals for The Reducers 1988 Wake the Neighbors release.

Also in 2019 Rave On released this compilation that contains both of the Rue Morgue offerings. The Radioactive set contains all twelve tracks as per the UK version (the US version was only ten tracks with "Rescue Me" & "Close Inspection" missing).
