On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

Slinging tuneage like some fried or otherwise soused short-order cook

Another from Third Mind

Not much information about this short-lived band. Scottish indie pop / synth pop duo made up of brother / sister Mervyn & Heather Wright.

Heather later joined Beautiful Pea Green Boat. (I've shared their Still Life album on the first C'est la Mort post here.)

This is another rarity from the great Third Mind Records label.

God Said - Off the Plot, Third Mind Records TMLP23, 1988.

  2. Anything odd and Scottish I'll give a listen too, but you opened an old rabbit hole my friend. C'est la Mort. So, I've been looking through everything you've posted and checked that I have it. Then I looked on Discogs for the label releases info, and finally I'm back here with two requests.
    1. Future Neighbors – Flesh Of Love
    2. Grace Darling – Grace Darling

Off topic I also spent a wee while searching Beautiful Pea Green Boat. A couple of old blogs have posted (some signposted by Systems Of Romance) but they're all dead and buried. What do you have hiding by Beautiful Pea Green Boat in your vast underpants (sorry, underground) of knowledge??

    1. The two C'est la Mort items are holes in my list. I had the Grace Darling vinyl but a "friend" "borrowed" it & now I don't have it.

As far as BPGB, the only other thing I have is Maremma & Other Stories from 1995. If you so desire, let me know & I'll share a link here.

      Thanks for the comment, AJ.

  3. I Didn't know Heather was in a band previous to BPGB, Thanks for this.
