Bing & Ruth Sounds

Bing & Ruth is a minimalist/Ambient ensemble formed in the mid-aughts by composer/pianist David Moore at New York City's New School of Jazz. The lineup has shifted with the scope of each recording. 

 



For Golden Age, B&R decided to revive interest in the meditative pop traditions of Philip Glass & Harold Budd. 

On this release Bing & Ruth are: David Moore - piano; Greg Chudzik & Jeff Ratner - bass; Jeremy Viner & Patrick Breiner - clarinet; Leigh Stuart - cello; & Mike Effenberger - tape manipulation.
