Next up is a request from Frenz of NSS Richard.
Also from the Month of Mauz. I shared some KLF which included "3am Eternal (live from the 1992 BRIT Awards)" with Extreme Noise Terror.
Richard sez:
"Now would be a good time to post some ENT. Their Peel session, and split album with Chaos UK and the Holocaust in your Head are worthy of a re-presentation."
Well, I'm gonna share a slightly different set. The repetition of songs between the three he mentioned is quite heavy, many of the same Extreme tunes on all three. The Peel Sessions seemed a great overview of their work & although most of the ENT tracks on the Chaos UK split are repeated, I wanted to share the Chaos UK side for sure, so I skipped Holocaust in Your Head, which was once more many of the same titles & substituted Damage 381 which contains completely different tracks. Hope that's okay, Richard.
There are several versions of Peel Sessions: the original 7 song 1988 release on Strange Fruit; the 14 song 1990 reissue from Strang Fruit, & the 22 song Extreme Noise Terror self-released. I am sharing the self-released band version here.

Thank you, over christmas dinner one of my brothers told me we had seen them at a church, way back early 90s. I have no memory to share....I have played and seen a lot in that sqated church.
ReplyDeleteGreat choise. Usually I go to ftftp for punk. guess what, he never did them.
Just for you, Richard.
DeleteThank you for this, and the previous ENT vs KLF shares. I only have the "Grind Madness at the BBC" compilation which looks like it has a slightly different track list than your peel sessions share here.
ReplyDeleteQuite a few differing versions of the Peel Sessions material. Picked this one fot the two bonus tracks. Good to hear from you, Mooz.
DeleteThat's a great start to the New Year, Nate. You are spoiling us..
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you again, Nick. SPOILER ALERT!!!...more spoiling to come.
