On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

Praise Space Electric Tea

Bristol based downtempo, jazz, experimental, Trip-hop band formed in 1997 to do a few remixes by Portishead live-show bassist Jim Barr, featuring: Barr; singer / guitarist Jesse 'Morningstar' Vernon (of Moonflowers & Praise Space Electric); John Baggott; & Toby Pascoe. The band signed to Bristol's Cup of Tea Records label. Their sound, based on hip-hop rhythms, subtle funky guitars, & jazz attitudes sprinkled with a hint of psychedelia, possesses a unique pop dimension that pushes the boundaries of the Trip-hop genre..

  2. Nicely, mate. What a talented bunch of musicians - i've loved everything (well, every release i'm aware of) that they've put out. If only Beth was a bit more productive: her voice is too good to be confined to 3 post-Portishead releases. I still watch 'Live At Roseland' occasionally - the sound is entrancing. And Beak are a superb group too. I shall look forward to this.
