On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

And Mishka...

Mishka (John Frith) is a Bermudan reggae arists originally making a name for himself in the late 90s London indie music scene. He is the brother of Heather Nova, another well known Bermudan musician. Mishka recorded on the influential UK label Creation Records. In 1999 he released his self-titled debut to rave revues. Creation Records had the idea to have Mad Professor work out a Dub version of that album.

Mishka in Dub is a Dub reworking of that first album. The track order is different from the original & I have marked the original track position & title after the corresponding Dub track. The song "Johannah" has been replaced by "Mystic Dub (Mystic Music Dub remix)" on this outing.

Nicely mate. I'm looking forward to this.
Whilst i'm here, if i'm on the right track i've got a re-up favour to ask of you. During a recent back-page rampage i came across an old blog (of yours?) called Digital Meltdown, which ceased posting back in '13. On it i found an entry for Assassins Of God, but alas, the album in question was no longer available. If i'm not barking up the wrong tree altogether, is this something you could furnish me with? Apologies if i'm wrong.

    1. Thanks, brother.
A lot of the Digital Meltdown material came from original blogger Zer0-ii, so I don’t have much of it. Fortunately the Assasins of God was one of my posts. I have always really dug this release. Good choice, my friend.

Thanks very much, NØ. I don't know anything about the band to be honest, but your original comment really sold me on it. And it's such a great band name too! I'm very much looking forward to it. Top man!

Well, excellent call on the Assassins Of God, NØ - they're shredding my Sennheisers as i write this. Did they do anything else?

    4. They had three other albums, I believe. Black Tongue imo was their very best, but I can dig around & find some more if you like. I think I saw their last release Technological Myth Limbo when I was digging out Black Tongue. Let me know.

I'd appreciate anything you can share, bud. Black Tongue is a killer of an album.

    6. Richie, glad you’re enjoying AOG. Here are three more releases: No Music Tonight 7“; The Jupiter Ox Revealed; & Technological Mythic Limbo.

All three are in one folder.

    8. Trying to keep it up, but I'm getting old. Might have to start relying on those little blue pills.
