Dubtember 12, Twenty-five

 

Africa Unite is a reggae band from Pinerolo, Turin, Italy, founded in 1981 by Bunna (Vitale Bonino) & Madaski (Franco Caudullo). They were originally Africa United but they removed the ‘d’ in 1992 just before releasing their Cantè EP. The name was taken from a song by Bob Marley, one of their biggest influences.

They have released 13 highly acclaimed albums since starting out, establishing themselves as one of the most prestigious & popular Italian reggae bands. They are still going strong today, doing live gigs throughout the world. Here they hit the Beach with their own reggae-drenched Dub (with some help from crazy Mad Professor along the way)...
