On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

  2. An easy decision today despite some interest noises from the Utah Saints and Dreadzone; ACR takes the win for me.

"Shack Up" from ACR... I count six - the times this track in various forms appear on various albums. One of ACR's classics. Recorded in someone's tin shed, "And Then Again" is another great track. I like the way it builds over the increasingly frenzied drumming and bass with the shrill discordant sounds towards the end.

The Shamen features one of my pet hates - the smug talking voiceover. Enough said.

Utah Saints feature the hugely funky Edwin Starr and deliver some nice noises - some surprisingly satisfying bass in track one. Tracks two and three add nothing to the set. Immediately I read "Edwin Starr" I had to seek out his famous "War" song. This powerful song and voice has been in my consciousness since I was a kid. A song that stirs the soul and makes the hairs on my neck stand up. If only the Utah Saints could do justice to such a great voice...

Dreadzone's offering is another I can't really stand. The "More Rockers mix" is interesting with the Drum & Bass but ultimately since it features that quaint little tune, I won't be listening to it more than the once.

    1. Thanks, That Bloke. True to your Team 'til the end. Can't fault you there. Team loyalty is a thing called musical taste & that be yours. Thanks so much for contributing to this entire event. Would not have been the same without you.

It's a song from my youth that has stuck with me my entire life as well.

    1. Thanks, PW. Good to hear from you & you are most welcome for all these. The whole idea behind this craziness was to share this shit-ton of Singles.

  5. Hello, my request is completely out of topic. I found on your blog Ladytron album "Witchin' Hour". So you maybe have "604" and "Light & Magic" albums and can you upload them? I will be very grateful!

    1. Greetings, Pawel. The only Ladytron that I ever shared was the Witching Hour you mentioned. That was a repost from an old blog Digital MeltdØwn. It was written & provided by my old friend Zero_II. That being said, I do happen to have both 604 & 604 (Remixed & Rare) as well as Light & Magic.
