    Again, thanks a lot, Nate. It's a great pleasure to revisit these albums. Even though I really like Rapoon, again ZF scores higher. Those pieces on Assault & Mirage at times sound like unfinished sketches and that gives them a feeling of complete self-assurance - as if the group knew they couldn't do wrong (or didn't care). In contrast, I find Recurring (Dream Circle) overloaded with sounds (not one of my favourite Rapoon albums anyway).

    Another vote for ZF on this one. I suppose I just like the vibe of it more. The Rapoon album never jumped out as one of his better ones; the couple tracks that are remixes from "Dream Circle" aren't that impressive, or different from the original versions. The rest of the tracks might give that dreamy imagry, they just dont have any real standout moments in my opinion. "Assault and Mirage" does feel like a lot of sketches put together, however they are very strong sketches and they work together making it a strong release worth revisiting.
