On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

And a Third from Third

Another short-lived band with little infornation that were signed to the legendary Third Mind label. Electro new wave duo made up of Christopher Read - guitar, bass, keyboards, drum programming & John Hassett.- vocals with ocassional additional synthesizer by Curtis Schwartz.. Their sound is dense, paranoid, & ethereal, entirely synth driven. It features heavy grooves...upbeat with a very classic bass-driven wave sound that is both claustrophobic & psychedelic.

  2. "dense, paranoid, & ethereal" - sounds like the ideal soundtrack to these times we live through! Cheers mate.
A propos of, well, not much really, can i ask you a question/make a request? T'other day i found a 7" ('Creel') by a band called Rein Sanction in a local 'antiques' shop (more a glorified junk hole): one of the Sub Pop singles club releases from '91. I liked what i heard but so far have unbeen unable to find any of their other releases. Can you help me out? Ta very much either way Nate.

    1. Rein Santion were from Jacksonville, Florida. In most reviews they were considered Dinosaur Jr. lite, which didn’t help their career. Their first full-length, Broc’s Cabin, was produced by Kramer (Shimmy Disc head honcho) for Sub Pop. Their second, Mariposa, was produced by grunge maestro Jack Endino also on Sub Pop.

I also have several later releases with various different bass players, 1996 Blue Men & 2008 good one, if you like these & want more. Just let me know.
