Liberate the Dub

During Sound Systember I shared Manasseh Sound System & Sound Iration, which garnered a lot of interest. Thought I share this 1990 collaboration between LidJ Incorporated & Sound Iration..

 

 

LidJ Incorporated was the duo of LidJ Xylon (R.I.P.) & MC Ishu (born Clarence Earl Bradshaw, Kingston, Jamaica). 

 

 

Ishu moved to London in the 1980s where he worked with seminal punk band The Slits. Throughout much of the 90s he was the resident MC on Manasseh Sound System. He contributed the stand out track "Under Arrest" on the Mungo's Hi Fi CD Sound System Champion which I shared Sound Systember 21.

This is the Dub version of Lidj Incorporated's Black Liberation...
