X-Ray Charles was a lo-fi jangle pop (with a raw, experimental edge) duo from Christchurch, New Zealand consisting of multi-instrumentalist James Sullivan with drummer & Melted Ice Cream label head Brian Feary. This lo-fi release was recorded on a Tascam 424 Mk III 4-track tape recorder with digital vocal overdubs.
