This Gang is none other than David Lynch & his long time musickal collaborator Angelo Badalamenti.
Call them what you will, they have created some spectacularly memorable music throughout their partnership. With the passing of both men (DL - 2025 & AB - 2022) this is a most fitting tribute (it contains one of my favorite tracks by this duo..."The Black Dog Runs at Night”).

Along with Jim Jarmusch (who records with his band Squrrl [sic]) David Lynch is another director who has branched out - favourably in my estimation - into music. I'll look foeward to this. Thanks, Nate.
ReplyDeleteTypical Lynch/Badalamenti film noir fare. I'm a big fan of both Lynch & Jarmusch. Take care, brother.
Deletethanx so much Mister. Album request: Lee Perry " from my secret laboratory" and Rhythm & Sound same 2001...grazie grazie grazie
ReplyDeleteTwo great requests. Rhythm & Sound are golden in my book & the Perry outing is an Upsetter/On-U Sound production for Mango Records with Dub Syndicate - Skip McDonald, Bubblers, Style Scott, Adrian & Roots Radics - Steely, Flabba & Bingy. Who could ask for anything more...
DeleteLee “Scratch” Perry - From My Secret Laboratory, Mango 539869-2, 1990.
