On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

Musick that Needed Work : T - Techno Animal

Birningham native, multi-instrumentalist Justin Broadrick & London's Kevin Martin (The Bug & King Midas Sound) were Techno Animal.

They now continue the Techno Animal sound performing as Zonal.

  2. Justin Godflesh Napalm Death Head Of David Broadrick. Born on the first of the first of that hippie fest Woodstock. His 1991 first Techno Animal was brutal, the 12''s I have are 33/45 all your own choice. Didn't have this last animal. Thank you.

  3. Excellent choice again, this one has a great selection of MCs. Justin is another prolific musician with so many incredible side projects like this one. I was sad to hear of his recent hospital stay for an inguinal hernia, which effectively ended Godflesh. I understand, that guttural growl and screaming for 40 years has to take its toll eventually.

    1. Thanks brother. Straining too hard for the words, ripping a gut, what a thing. Hope he recovers well.

    2. Normally an inguinal hernia is very well treatable. In the Netherlands it is a one-day hospitalization and a few weeks recovering. You don't usually get it from screaming brutally. Don't get me wrong, it is unpleasant, it is just not that serious. I know cases waiting half a year for surgery. That half a year is a reason to stop a band.

    1. Great compilation. This is 320K so hope that's better. Many of the tracks run together on the CD but these are split into individual tracks. Hope it is all right.

    2. It's definitely a highlight this one, thank you very much! The mp3's I had were pretty cack so this has made my day :) to celebrate this momentous occasion, here is a link to a video where someone has set 'Bass Concussion' to a Jan Svankmajer stop motion short. It's bloody perfect:
