One Last Swoon in June

 

Harking back to 1984, the very first full-length from Martin & Paddy McAloon & cohorts as Prefab Sprout. Complex chord progressions, off-kilter rhythms, cryptic lyrics & tricky song structures have an unpolished vibrancy that foreshadows the extraordinary things to come from Paddy & the Sprout...& you always said you hated sprrouts, well you just never had them prefab before this. 

Dig in, love them greens.

    Great thing to keep the flame of this essential for new listeners.
    "Louder than loud and crowder than crowd"
    Recently acquired "Jordan the comeback" reissue.
    Somehow "smoother to the ears" but the irony and the chops are there.
    Paddy & co are life companions.
