Music that Needs Work - M: Madonna, Tron, & Child

 

Crawling up from the putrid miasma wafting off the Thames, Madonnatron foist their Stooges/ early Joy Division hybrid blend of post-punk onto the unsuspecting masses. They formed after a rowdy night drinking at the Shacklewell Arms pub. They could barely play their instruments. Their original frontperson left while they were recording their debut album at Trashmouth Studios, yet here they are again with one of 2019s top releases.



Playing hypnotic, darkly feminist psychedelic witch prog, here Madonnatron is: Stefania Cardenas; Charlie (Charlotte) Aggett; Joanie Myburgh, & Beth (?).

    Last night I happened to listen to the GTO's album and the photo of Madonnatron above immediately caught my attention with it's similarity. So I'm going check it out. Many thanks!
