Add an equal portion of electronic music, avant-garde, reggae. Dub, electronica, & worldbeat musician, composer, record producer, & solo artist Gaudi. 

Throw them in a blender with a dash of Style Scott & you can't go wrong with this delicious Downtempo special sauce.

    What a terrific combination! It works beautifully. I like how they leave breathing space for one another in the mix. You're probably already long familiar with them, but Nusrat's collaborations with Canadian (infinite-) guitarist Michael Brook are also wonderful.
    Thank you for posting this album, for me it's a new branch of the NFAK tree to explore, and Many Thanks to Charlie for the remixes!

    I LOVE how the melody line in Dil Da Rog Muka Ja Mahi started out as what I fiigured was a UB40 riff from 1 in 10 (remember the 808 State version?) but then fully transforms into Kraftwerk's The Model. Put a grin on my face! :0) Plus makes me wonder how I for decades have missed that reference with UB40's usage.

    I love how Music keeps opening up like that: the connections, asides, references, nods, and steals.

      Thanks for the comments here & elsewhere today. Nusrat is great in all things musical that he attempts, from his native Qawalli to all his various collaboration with multiple other blendings.

      Also thanks for taking the time to thank dear friend Charlie, always adding a bit more to the mix (or remixes) here.
