KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) - Malaysia launched airstrikes & mortar attacks against nearly 200 Filipinos occupying a Indonesian seaside village Tuesday to end a bizarre three-week siege that turned into a security nightmare for Malaysia, the Philippines, & Indonesia. It has been now called the ‘Borneo 3-way massacre’.

This tape is a three band, 21 song ass whooping of extreme Malaysian Hardcore that clocks in at just over 19 minutes. As the title suggests, the three band on this split tape are all from the island of Borneo.  Borneo is made up of four territories, two Malaysian, one Indonesian, & the tiny country called Brunei. All three of these bands come from Malaysian Sabah, Malaysia (Sabah is one of the 13 member states of Malaysia, its easternmost state located on the northern portion of the island of Borneo).

The three bands are: MURDEREDXBYXYOU - raw grinding crust with shrieked vocals; brutal MATI KATAK – brutal, with the occasional 90s rhythms & out of synch, screamed to oblivion vocal attack; & KILL OUR LEADER - crushing grind/powerviolence not far removed from the heavyweights of the genre.

Various - Borneo 3-way Massacre cassette, self released, 2006.

  3. Man, I can't believe my luck, that 3-Way Borneo eas all I expected it to be. As for Goh Lee Kwang's, I find Homebrew an instant classic; the other two need a bit more time... and patience, I guess. Again, thanks!
