On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

March Madness: League Play-offs - Round 3

It appears that both teams are playing the long-game strategy. Neither team has come out with their strongest offenses yet. We'll have to see how long this tact is maintained.

The score so far is Eastern Division 7 - Western Division 4.

:zoviet*france: - What is Not True, Charrm CHARRMCD17, 1993.

  2. I wasn't aware that I like ZF so much more than Rapoon, but this seems to be the case. I've always likes Seven Pillars of Fire a lot, but right now I'm revisiting What Is Not True and these creepy sounds are just excellent. Another win for ZF!

    1. Glad you are following along & nothing wrong with having a favorite team. If you comment more, give me an idea what it is that tilts you to one team or the other if you don't mind. I'll update the scores.

  3. Ha ha I love it NØ and watching with keen interest! In fact March Madness is infecting me at work as just yesterday I played a prank on the office mates putting a black plastic 1 cup scoop into their coffee since no one would put it away in the cupboard at work and get it out of the way on the drying mat.

  4. The ZF pieces are sublime and minimal even for them. I read these are solo live performances, post-Robin's departure and I guess that shows. I made the mistake of listening to the Rapoon EP on my headphones and Robin is a little heavy handed with the panning (Leslie/Rotating Speaker effect) which triggered my Meniere's. Despite having to lay down afterwards for a bit, Rapoon wins this round.

    1. Sorry if I caused your vertigo. Black Dahlia has the same condition & has stopped taking a chance on headphone (of course she likes Oldies rock/R'nB unlike the weirdess I listen to, so not a real problem). Hope it soon passed. Glad it didn't disuade you from Seven Pillars. You are always insightful in your comments. If you can, let me know what it is that you like about each of your choices. I'll update the scores.
