That looks like a worthy tribute to a long and wide-ranging career. Loved the busy rhythms of that first Feelies album, and still remember the thrill of the drums driving the Palominos' version of "Omaha".
ReplyDeleteThe only reason I didn't include "Omaha" is because I believe the Moby Grape original is a much better version. Can;t go wrong with the Feelies first. Anton was such a drum whore (no a denigration by any means).
DeleteThanks for this one too Nate; look at that resume --damn! Being part of any one of those recordings would be noteworthy but to have been involved with so many is amazing.
