On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

Who Can Predict the Weather?

By request...

The Weather Prophets was formed in 1986 by Peter Astor - guitar & vocals & Dave Morgan - drums when their previous band, The Loft, broke up. The original line-up had Creation Records head-honcho Alan McGee playing bass, but he became their manager when Astor & Morgan recruited David Greenwood Goulding - bass & Oisin Little - guitar to complete the line up.

The Singles.

Their debut single Almost Prayed was released by Creation shortly after their formation.

  2. Thanks for the blog. Excellent work. I did own the debut Weather Prophets 7" as a double single. The second disc contained Robert Johnson and Chuck Berry songs...
