On any post, if the link is no longer good, leave a comment if you want the music re-uploaded. As long as I still have the file, or the record, cd, or cassette to re-rip, I will gladly accommodate in a timely manner all such requests.

Dubtember 15

Today I share with you Dubly Beloved Prince Fatty.

Here he's teamed up with London songstress Shniece McMenamin so there's a goodly share of Lovers Rock stylee in with the Dub.

Be (sh)nice.

Covers of Lyn Collins "Take Me as I Am", Gwen McCrae "90% of Me is You", LaVern Baker "Love Me Right", Little Willie John "Fever", Ike &Tina Turner "You Got What You Wanted", even Kraftwerk "The Model" are all given the Fatty treatment.

Issued as a 500 copy limited edition 12" white label vinyl, numbered & hand stamped by Prince Fatty & Shniece. It was only available direct from Fatty's Bandcamp but is now sold out.

  2. Wonderful selection today! Loving the Prince Fatty and Horseman; I thought you might include Hollie Cook as a third album tying them together.

    1. I love everything that Hollie does. Happy Hour & Happy Hour in Dub are always near at hand. I just felt people are relatively familiar with Hollie's work.

Prince Fatty presents Hollie Cook - In Dub would certainly tied things together. Here a link to that (in FLAC):
